The idea behind the Kado Café, located on the second floor near the Kadokawa Culture Museum’s entrance, and facing a beautiful water basin, was to offer female visitors a space for gathering casually in a relaxed setting. All items on the menu, including drinks and the Kado Café original "oimoball", are available from a self-service counter, which makes the café an ideal place for visitors to the museum or the surrounding Tokorozawa Sakura Town, to stop by for a quick rest.

The spacious interior with its high ceiling is visually characterized by a color mix of white and "sweet potato colors," with light purple and yellow cushions representing the peel and flesh of this specialty food of the Tokorozawa area. Bouquet-shaped overhead lights, and varying tabletop designs that can be enjoyed like creative poster art, round off a highly photogenic interior design that combines comfort and playfulness.

The star on the menu are dumplings made of sweet potato, a Tokorozawa specialty food that is especially popular among women. A mixture of sweet potato and rice flour, bite-sized "oimoballs" come as sweets with whipped cream, fruit and sweet sauce, or floating in soup dishes such as minestrone or clam chowder. They are served in colorful and convenient cups that can easily be carried around for eating on the go. Try and create your own customized oimoball sweets with a topping of your choice!

"KADOKAWA CRAFT" offers an original coffee blend that follows a consistent concept, from the selection and roasting of beans, to the sales of drinks. We recommend the "Original Print Latte" with silky steamed milk, in cups featuring original latte art for visitors to enjoy together with the scenic view from the café’s windows. Various soft drinks are also available.
